ESPN: Big 12 Heisman Watch: Week 2

It's still going to be tough for a Big 12 player to win the Heisman in 2010, and none made my Week 2 ballot, but here are its five best chances in our weekly checkup:

1) Jerrod Johnson, QB, Texas A&M: A solid debut on Saturday night, albeit against Stephen F. Austin. He completed 28-of-40 passes for 322 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. The stakes remain the same for Johnson: He probably needs 10 wins and to outdo his numbers from 2009. Without both, he can't win the trophy.
