ESPN: Six B1G players are midseason All-Americans
Colleague Mark Schlabach has revealed ESPN.com's midseason All-America team, and six Big Ten players have made the exclusive squad. They are:
Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson Michigan center David Molk Illinois defensive end Whitney Mercilus Michigan State defensive tackle Jerel Worthy Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still Nebraska kick returner Ameer Abdullah Pretty impressive that 75 percent of the defensive line for the All-America team comes from the Big Ten. And with Wilson earning the nod over Andrew Luck, Kellen Moore, Robert Griffin III and others, it shows that his Heisman Trophy candidacy is for real.
