AP: Ala. gov. declares 'Cameron Newton Day'

Auburn's Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Cam Newton has been honored by Alabama Gov. Bob Riley. Riley declared that Saturday will be "Cameron Newton Day" in Alabama. Riley said the designation is in recognition of the Atlanta native's play on the field leading the Tigers to an undefeated record and a spot in Monday's national championship game in Glendale, Ariz.
