ESPN: Landry Jones wins Sammy Baugh Award

Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones was given the Sammy Baugh Award as the nation's best quarterback.

He threw for 4,289 yards and 35 touchdowns while leading Oklahoma to a Big 12 title. He's the sixth Oklahoma quarterback under Bob Stoops to do so.

Former Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford won the award in 2008. The Touchdown Club of Columbus (Ohio) hands out the award each season.
