ESPN: Heisman Predictor: James is No. 2

A week off didn't hurt Oregon running back LaMichael James' Heisman Trophy chances.

The ESPN.com "Heisman Predictor" rates James second behind new leader, Auburn quarterback Cam Newton.

Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is eighth.

If Newton and Auburn should lose to LSU this weekend, and James puts up big numbers vs. UCLA on Thursday, it's possible James could move up next week.
