He should have been in contention last year but was overshadowed by last years winner Mark Ingram. Ingram and James had similar numbers last year. Ingram had 271 carries James had 230 in two less games. Ingram averaged 6.1 James averaged 6.7. Ingram had 17 touchdowns, James had 14 touchdowns.
