Ballots

How many ballots did a particular Heisman candidate appear on? In other words, how many voters chose to assign a #1, #2, or #3 vote to a particular candidate?

But, of course, using the raw number would be deceiving - since the total number of ballots varies wildly over time. Again, we recommend using a percentage, in order to make year-to-year comparisons meaningful.

Note: We're not able to include the years 1935-1950 - as the Trophy Trust website does not have the 1-2-3 vote breakdown listed for those years. Also, 1964 and 1971 are not included, because the Heisman Trust website is missing the 2nd and 3rd place votes for those years.
