Welcome to the new Stiff Arm Trophy

Well, the 2010 college football season is finally upon us. It's been a long eight months (and for some teams and their fans, it's been longer than that.)

You'll notice that we've got a new look now. And there's a whole lot more going on here. Since we launched in 2002, this has been a site that was dormant for eleven months - magically springing to life in that short period bracketed by conference championship weekend and the Heisman Trophy announcement.

Starting in 2010, we'll be bringing you news about the many Heisman contenders all season long. In addition to our own commentary, we're pulling together lots of headlines from all across the country.

And even more exciting than that - we're organizing what promises to be the biggest and best weekly poll of actual Heisman voters. Lots of folks do polls with ten or twelve voters -- we'll have a lot more than that. Stay tuned!
