Yahoo Sports: Marcus Lattimore has successful surgery
South Carolina announced today that running back Marcus Lattimore had successful surgery last Friday. Perhaps the best news is that there are no plans for further surgery. The news release said several ligaments in his right knee needed to be repaired, and there were no fractures or further injuries. He had a strong team of doctors perform the surgery: South Carolina team physician Dr. Jeffrey Guy, Dr. Lyle Cain, and USC team consultant Dr. James Andrews.
