ESPN: John Brantley starts for Gators

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The drama is over.

John Brantley, coming back from a high ankle sprain, started at quarterback for Florida after not warming up with the rest of the team.

Not only did Brantley start, but the Gators went with an empty set backed up on their own goal line on their first play, and Brantley threw a short flip to Jeff Demps, who turned it into a 72-yard gain.
