Stiff Arm Trophy

Week 2 Poll: Denard Robinson rockets to #1, Landry Jones debuts at #8

Jacory Harris, Christian Ponder drop out of top 25; Trent Richardson passes Mark Ingram

After two weeks of college football, the race for the Heisman continues to be dynamic - with major changes once again.

Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson rocketed to #1, with a 98% showing. Last week, he was at #13 - and didn't appear at all in the preseason poll. Last week's top two, Terrelle Pryor and Kellen Moore were closely behind.

Debuting on the list at #8 was Oklahoma QB Landry Jones. Dropping out of the top 25 entirely were two QBs in the top 10 last week: Florida State's Christian Ponder and Miami's Jacory Harris.

Also debuting this week in the top 25 are South Carolina freshman tailback Marcus Lattimore (#15), Florida RB Jeff Demps (#17), and Auburn QB Cam Newton (#25). Also dropping out are LSU DB Patrick Peterson and Virginia Tech QB Tyrod Taylor.

Alabama's Mark Ingram, the preseason #1, has now dropped to #13 - behind Alabama's Trent Richardson - now at #10.
