ESPN: Melvin Gordon's Heisman moment
MADISON, Wis. -- There's one man whom Wisconsin tailback Melvin Gordon, even with all his speed and elusiveness, has never quite been able to run past.
He's a little bronze fellow with a famous stiff-arm. You'd definitely recognize him if you saw him.
The Heisman Trophy has seemingly been reaching toward Gordon his whole career. After all, the Badgers' first ever Heisman winner, Alan Ameche, hailed from Gordon's hometown of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and left his legacy at the same high school where Gordon would later star.
