Fanhouse: Georgia's A.J. Green Draws Four-Game NCAA Suspension for Jersey Sale

Filed under: GeorgiaThe NCAA ruled Wednesday that Georgia wide receiver A.J Green will have to miss the next three games as punishment for reportedly selling his Independence Bowl game jersey to an agent.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Green, who was held out of the Bulldogs' season opener against Louisiana-Lafayette last Saturday, must serve a four-game suspension before he can be declared eligible again following a two-month investigation into allegations that he sold his bowl game jersey to a person the NCAA considers an agent.
