ESPN: A.J. Green reportedly sold a jersey

Georgia star receiver A.J. Green remains in limbo with the NCAA because he sold a game-worn jersey, according to a report by ESPN.com's Mark Schlabach.

Georgia officials are hoping to hear something back from the NCAA on Wednesday. Green sat out the opener against Louisiana-Lafayette.

A person familiar with the NCAA investigation told Schlabach that Green did not sell his jersey on eBay and received less than $1,000 for it. The source said Green has been forthcoming and honest with NCAA investigators, but added there were "some twists and turns" involved with the case.
