ESPN: McDonald to return, Barkley to announce

Junior safety T.J. McDonald said Wednesday that he would return to USC for his senior season, and now Trojans fans await an announcement this afternoon from quarterback Matt Barkley.

Barkley will reveal his decision to stay at USC or enter the NFL draft at a press conference at 4 p.m. ET., in Heritage Hall.

Will he be a Matt Leinart, who stayed, or a Mark Sanchez, who bolted for the NFL?

USC already has lost DE Nick Perry and OT Matt Kalil early to the NFL draft, but if Barkley opted to return, the Trojans would likely start the season ...
