ESPN: Landry Jones hears Travis Lewis' criticism

Quarterback Landry Jones admitted he had heard about linebacker and fellow captain Travis Lewis’ postgame comments suggesting a couple of the injured Sooners sat out against Texas Tech but could have played.

“I know I played with a broken toe and the coaches would have had to drag me off the field for me not to play,” Lewis said. “So, I’m disappointed in some of the guys. Oh well, I guess if trainer says you can't play, you can't play. I know I did though."

Jones didn’t condone Lewis’ comments but tried to explain why Lewis might have said that.
