To hear the pundits and listen to the prognosticators, Pryor is a shoe-in, the guy to beat when it comes to voting for college football's best player in 2010. Which is fine.

Except for two facts. First, there remains a season to be played. Second, a quick look at Pryor's stats from 2009 make a person wonder why the guy is the leading candidate at this point, with a season yet to be played. In this case, the facts do not match the perception.
