ESPN: Lattimore sprains knee against Bulldogs

South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said after his team's 14-12 win over Mississippi State that he and his players would celebrate officially becoming bowl eligible.

No matter how big or small that celebration truly is, the Gamecocks will have a sinking feeling after watching their best offensive weapon go down against the Bulldogs.

Spurrier told reporters during his postgame news conference that doctors told him running back Marcus Lattimore sprained a knee in the fourth quarter.
