ESPN: LSU's Patrick Peterson shows his stuff

LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson had his sights set on a 4.2-something in the 40-yard dash.

Having watched Peterson for the last three seasons in the SEC, I've learned not to doubt him. But even for him, that sounded far-fetched.

Then he shows up at the NFL combine weighing in at a rock-solid 219 pounds, looking more like a running back than a cornerback, and still turns in an official time of 4.34 in the 40.
