The longer the wait for Jeremiah Masoli’s waiver to be cleared by the NCAA, the more the black helicopter conspiracy theorists sounded a little less crazy. In what was considered by many to be just a formality of approval, the NCAA this afternoon instead denied the residency waiver that would have allowed Masoli to suit up and play for the Ole Miss Rebels this season.
