ESPN: Oregon's Thomas says Fairley's rep is deservedSCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The only thing remotely resembling any bulletin board material Thursday during the media sessions for the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game was Oregon quarterback Darron Thomas essentially agreeing that Auburn's Nick Fairley was a dirty player. Fairley led the SEC in tackles for loss and sacks this season and drove more than a few quarterbacks into the ground, which didn't exactly endear him to opposing fans. |
