Bleacher Report: LSU vs. Arkansas: Mallett strikes back, Arkansas up 14-7

LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis employs a high-risk, high-reward defense. With the talent level the Tigers defense, most of the time, it's rewarded with sacks, turnovers and plays for lost yardage. But increasingly, the LSU defense have felt the sting of those risks. Mallett found a way to exploit that on a 85-yard TD pass to Cobi Hamilton to give Arkansas a 14-7 lead as halftime nears. LSU safety Karnell Hatcher took a bad angle on play and went for the ball instead of trying to tackle Hamilton along the sideline and whiffed. There was nothing between Hamilton and the end zone.
