Bleacher Report: Campus Rumors: Taylor Martinez Quits Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team
Late Sunday night an ugly rumor was circulating Nebraska's campus. A day after Bo Pelini was seen getting physical with quarterback Taylor Martinez, he reportedly quit the team. After Martinez returned to the field following an x-ray, Pelini could be seen yelling expletives at him and poking him in the chest. Despite his injury Martinez returned to the game in the second half. Martinez was noticeably indifferent to Pelini's actions, begging the question if "he had checked out."
