ESPN: Blaine Gabbert back to his old self early

Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert completed just over 41 percent of his passes his past two games, after hitting on 67 percent of his passes in his first seven games.

It's no coincidence that Missouri's record in those first seven games was 7-0 and 0-2 in the past two weeks.

On Saturday, he's been sharp. Gabbert has completed his first seven passes for 62 yards and a 25-yard touchdown pass deep down the middle that's given Missouri a 7-0 lead.

In last week's loss to Texas Tech, he completed just 12-of-30 passes for 95 yards, the worst start of his career. ...
