ESPN: Mark Ingram makes Doak Walker cut

Alabama's Mark Ingram is one of 10 semifinalists for the Doak Walker, which goes annually to the top running back in college football.

Ingram, who's third in the SEC in rushing, is the only SEC player to make the list.

I thought South Carolina freshman Marcus Lattimore would also make the 10 semifinalists when you consider the impact he's had on the Gamecocks. He's second in the SEC in rushing to Auburn's Cam Newton. And in SEC games only, Lattimore is averaging 100.2 rushing yards per game and has scored eight touchdowns, which leads all SEC running backs.
