ESPN: OSU clears Blackmon of NCAA violations
Team officials from Oklahoma State released a statement Thursday afternoon regarding speculation surrounding Justin Blackmon's attendance, along with some teammates, at Monday night's Dallas Cowboys game. "The Oklahoma State University Office of Athletics Compliance has reviewed circumstances related to student-athletes traveling to Arlington, Texas, to attend Monday night’s NFL game. Based upon all information gathered, and in consultation with the NCAA and others, the OSU compliance staff has determined that no violations of NCAA legislation occurred." Oklahoma State says it considers the matter closed. Coach Mike Gundy announced Blackmon's one-game suspension on Wednesday.
