ESPN: Newton on top of Heisman polls

Seven weeks into the season, it looks like Auburn quarterback Cam Newton is pretty much a universal favorite in all of the Heisman Trophy polls.

He's first this week in the ESPN experts' poll, although Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore isn't too far behind. In this week's Heisman Predictor poll, Newton is also No. 1 for the second week in a row. Oregon running back LaMichael James is No. 2 and Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray No. 3.

Surprisingly, Alabama running back Mark Ingram is No. 4 in the Heisman Predictor poll, even though Ingram has had three straight games ...
