ESPN: Ingram will play this week for Tide

Alabama coach Nick Saban has seen enough from Mark Ingram to know that his junior running back is ready to return, meaning the Heisman Trophy winner will play for the first time this season Saturday against Duke.

"He's practiced all week, running fast and cutting good. He's ready to go," Saban said.

Ingram has been sidelined since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee the week before the opener. He was close to being able to play last week, but Saban said it was important to get him back out there this week.
