Week 10: Top four remain Luck, Moore, Richardson, Keenum
In this week of turmoil for college football, the Heisman race continues - though without much change this week. Stanford QB Andrew Luck continues to lead the Stiff Arm Trophy poll, appearing on a top-8 watch lists for 54 of 54 Heisman voters this week.
Boise State QB Kellen Moore remains at #2, and is the only other player that appears on more than 90% of the top-8 watch lists. Alabama RB Trent Richardson is still #3 and Houston QB Case Keenum is holding down the #4 spot for the second week in a row.
At #5, Oklahoma St QB Brandon Weeden appears to be edging up the rankings, appearing on 71% of top-8 watch lists (up from just 55% of top-9 watch lists last week.)
The second tier of Heisman candidates are #6 Oklahoma QB Landry Jones, #7 Baylor QB Robert Griffin III, #8 Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson, and #9 Oklahoma St WR Justin Blackmon. Joining them is Oregon RB LaMichael James, who returns to the rankings after a one week absence, as well as USC QB Matt Barkley.
Rounding out the top-twelve ranking is LSU DB Tyrann Mathieu, who also returns after a one-week absence.
Dropping out of the Stiff Arm Trophy ranking this week are Clemson QB Tajh Boyd and Oklahoma WR Ryan Broyles.
54 actual Heisman voters from 28 states participated in this week's StiffArmTrophy.com poll. The poll asked voters to share an unranked top-8 "watch list" for the Heisman Trophy.
